- LEWA EcoPrime Chromatographic System
Customerized Design:
LEWA EcoPrime is a customerized liquid chromatography system meeting the production facility standard and research requirements.
- Integrated with LEWA's experienced diaphragm technology and the newest pump control technology, EcoPrime provides wide control flow range (min. 1:150).
- Wide control flow analysis is able to perform an auto analysis on reproducible metering accuracy.
- Provides 1%~99% step and linear gradient capability.
- Nearly pulsation-free volume flow due to the use of two synchronized intellidrive pumps. The advantages include:
- Precise analysis.
- Prevent viscosities from overflowing the valve.
- Advanced bubble trap design for optimal degasification.
- Reduce shear on protein solution and holdup volume.
Thirty years' experience in providing chromatographic system:
- Not only providing the most suitable material for sample and testing (such as plastic, Teflon), we can also design for you a pump system to meet the stringent hygienic standard requirement on the pharmaceutical and food industries.
- Our design is to insure the basic functionality of diaphragm pumps, to perform accurate reciprocative transportation of liquid, prevent pollution during production, and maintain safety during tearing and wearing. Provide accessorized diaphragm protection system and monitoring to detect any defective parts.
- From R & D to manufacturing, LEWA 's customized chromatography system are designed to meet your requirements and allow you to precisely set variables for tasks from measuring flow rate to mixing various substance for the production of gradients.
- Lewa has supplied top pharmaceutical companies and engineering companies with its experiences and technology over a long period of time.

Intelligent Control:
- Reciprocating pumps control stroke and speed via dual operations, which are adjusted by actual flow rate detected. Even at a rate outside of the 1:150 wide range, the pump can still achieve precise metering reliably.
-
Equipped with the function of auto adjusting speed, the suction and expel speed can be changed during the pump rotation. It is by this capability, two reciprocating pumps can have virtually pulsation-free metering.
- In addition, due to the auto adjustability of suction stroke, valves on the suction side of a pump head controlled by LEWA intellidrive can transport different fluids.

- LEWA intellidrive
LEWA intellidrive can combine speed variation of suction and expel with compression stroke to yield a maximum adjustment range of over 1 : 150. While conventional technology requires frequency converters and an electric stroke adjuster, each of which must be supplied with separate power and data connections. LEWA intellidrive just requires one connection. This enables the advantages of wide adjust range and high precision when transporting liquid. Dual-pump layout for virtually pulsation-free metering is made possible by LEWA intellidrive.

- Food and Beverages:
Process integrity and product safety is a basic prerequisite in food technology. Hygienic aspects and cleanability play a major role: the process must remain inherently closed, contamination of the process fluids must be prevented at any stage of the production. LEWA systems make this possible.
LEWA has following applications for a wide variety of fluids in food and beverages:
- Edible oil
- Gelatin
- Milk and margarine products
- Cereals and sweets
- Colour and flavor additives
- Functional food and nutraceuticals
- Brewery & soft drinks

Supercritical Fluid:
A supercritical fluid (SCF) is a substance whose temperature and pressure are simultaneously above its critical point. The importance of supercritical fluid is: (a) Liquids have good solubilizing property (b) Gases have good diffusivity and compressibility.
- Supercritical CO2:
LEWA has many experiences in supercritical CO2(SCCO2) applications and CO2 has the following key properties:
- Low critical temperature (31.1 C)
- Moderate critical pressure of 73 bar
- Non-flammable
- Non-toxic
- Miscible with organic solvents
- Recoverable after processing
- Diffuses faster than conventional liquid solvents
- Generally Recognized As Safe (GRAS) status
- Approved by the FDA for use in food and pharmaceuticals
- Eco-friendy
- Inexpensive
